Mr. Wood a Principal of PEC+, has a BS in Civil Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University. Mr. Wood has been a member of the PEC+ team since 2000 as a Project Engineer and Intern and became a stockholder in2005.

Mr. Wood is the President of Planners and Engineers Collaborative+ with a primary role of keeping the direction of the company in focus and vision for design ideas on projects. His focus is financial and administration of company functions with land planning and project due diligence as work based priority. His approach to all projects is to spend the time on the front end of the project to understand the client’s mission and translate that mission into a critical path sequence of events that have to be met in order for a successful project to move forward to construction. His belief is the front end of the project plays the largest role in the success of the overall project at build out. Ken is very engaged with staff and departments and helps to ensure overall collaboration within the company.

Through the 20+ years with PEC+, Mr. Wood has designed, managed, and created a vision for hundreds of projects throughout the State of Georgia and across parts of the U.S. His early days as an intern with PEC+ were spent performing hydrology studies and construction plans for commercial projects that ranged from Texaco fuel centers to Home Depot across the U.S. Through the years Ken developed a guidance that in order to be successful in site design you need to understand all aspects of different projects from industrial to residential to commercial and beyond. This was the foundation of pushing PEC+ toward the organization it stands as today to be diversified with employees that can perform multi-disciplinary roles on any project.

Mr. Wood lives in Sandy Springs with the best wife and children live can provide. He was the cub master of Pack 236 for two years in SandySprings along with 7 years of coaching kid’s sports with the local churches. His family attends Andy Stanley’s church, hanging out with family friends, and loves to travel. Mr. Wood’s hobby is cycling and adventure racing throughout the southeast and races for the Veterans Empowerment Organization Cycling team.
