Since its opening in Spring of 2022, Elan Powers Ferry has been a growing attraction for outdoor lifestyle lovers. This amenity-rich multifamily asset is located minutes away from The Battery, Atlanta’s top entertainment district and home to the Atlanta Braves.
Elan powers Ferry boasts a beautiful resort pool, outdoor kitchen and dining area, dogpark and bocce court all attentively designed by 360 Studio, the Landscape Architecture branch of PEC+.
Creation of these spaces did not come without its challenges. In the courtyard, site constraints called for a creative solution to provide a variety of programmable spaces while still achieving a unified sense of place.
The kitchen and dining areas are separated from the pool space with low, attractive plantings creating a sense of separation while still providing views into the sunny pool area. The festoon laced bocce court is strategically placed between two outdoor subspaces acting as a promenade inviting users to play and explore.
Attractive fencing is weaved in the landscape to separate the pool from the other amenity spaces keeping the space usable year-round.
To cap off the amenity package, 360 Studio designed a linear dogpark directly adjacent to the Elan’s main entrance. The space is not only attractive, surrounded by flowering shrubs and unique lighting features, but is highly functional in its location and layout.
